Position Summary
Primary responsibilities include teaching courses in professional sales and marketing at the undergraduate level. Additional duties include promoting the professional sales program on and off campus, advising student organizations, cultivation of industry connections, coaching students in sales competitions, managing program information and databases (e.g., scholarship recipients, internship experiences, graduation statistics, placement figures, contacts, program review information), and monitoring, analyzing, and reporting program metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in business or a related field.
- At least 5 years of industry experience in sales.
Preferred Qualifications
- Teaching experience at the college level, preferably in professional sales or marketing.
- Experience with online education tools (e.g., Blackboard).
- Experience using sales-related technology.
- Experience coaching students in sales competitions.
- Experience advising student organizations.
