Our Portfolio Services Center Summer Internship is designed to offer a thorough experience that equips interns with the skills and knowledge needed for successful careers within real estate. Over the course of 8 - 10 weeks, interns will gain real-world, hands-on experience in the industry by handling important assignments, problem solving, and taking ownership of their work.
As part of the internship experience, interns will participate in our Virtual Global Speaker Series, which offers insights into the commercial real estate industry and professional development topics. These sessions also provide a deeper understanding of our company culture and values. Additionally, each intern is paired with a mentor for bi-weekly meetings, offering personalized guidance and support throughout the program.

Job Description

As a Portfolio Services Center Intern at C&W, you will gain experience with:

  • Research & Analysis: Gather information, conduct research, and analyze data to provide actionable insights and informed recommendations.

  • Operational Support: Assist with daily business activities, ensuring smooth execution of tasks and timely responses to requests.

  • Client Service: Address day-to-day inquiries, offering accurate information and guidance while ensuring issues are resolved effectively.

  • Process Execution: Follow established procedures and systems to meet quality standards and operational requirements.

  • Professional Development: Build your expertise through on-the-job training, mentorship, and observation.

  • Issue Resolution: Review, reconcile, and help resolve client concerns with support from management.

  • Project Coordination: Track timelines and milestones to support project delivery.

  • Reporting: Prepare and distribute monthly reports to support business insights and decision-making.

  • Team Collaboration: Partner with managers to support departmental goals and contribute to strategic initiatives.

  • Intern Cohort Engagement: Collaborate with fellow interns to explore the commercial real estate services industry and share learnings.

  • Special Projects: Take ownership of assigned projects that align with your interests and business needs.

  • Capstone Presentation: Deliver a final presentation to local leadership summarizing your internship experience, key learnings, and contributions.

Qualifications:

  • College/University junior or senior

  • Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA

  • Legal authorization to work in U.S. (Visa sponsorship unavailable for this position)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Proven record of providing excellent customer service

  • A self-starter, who is reliable, and gets things done as efficiently as possible

  • Detail-oriented while also being able to handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to work individually as well as a team player
