Skanska is searching for Current Students in the field of Civil Engineering, Construction Management and similar disciplines. The Skanska Internship Program targets students that are pursuing construction related degrees, but Skanska will consider individuals that may not have formal education opportunities, but demonstrate a strong desire to become part of our company at an entry level. Pay rate $25/hour.
Reports To: Project Manager, Superintendent and/or Department Staff
Intern Positions Include: Engineering, Field Engineering (Mechanical or Civil), Cost Engineering, Safety Engineering, Estimating, and Equipment/Maintenance.
Engineering Internship Required Qualifications:
  • Working towards Bachelor's in Construction Management, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field or equivalent through experience.
  • Knowledge of basic phases of construction projects
  • Knowledge of mathematics functions (geometry, basic algebra)
  • Computer skills (MS Office, HCSS, CGC, etc.)
