Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team at Aspire Counseling Services. This full-time remote role offers the unique opportunity to provide outpatient therapy to individuals and families affected by cancer diagnoses. In this position, you will employ evidence-based practices to enhance mental health outcomes while collaborating closely with both patients and healthcare providers.

About the Organization

Aspire Counseling Services is committed to revolutionizing health care delivery. Our mission is driven by a shared passion for providing exceptional care, focused on empowering individuals and redefining well-being across communities. We advocate for a proactive approach in partnering with patients, ensuring well-rounded support that promotes healthier futures. Our core values—compassion, excellence, leadership, innovation, and agility—reflect our dedication to transforming the standards of mental health services and the overall patient experience.

Work Environment

In this remote role, you will primarily operate from a climate-controlled office setting, equipped for daily movement and access to advanced technological tools. While our operations provide flexibility, you will also engage virtually with fellow healthcare professionals and department team members, fostering collaboration and teamwork. Our digital platforms ensure continuous connection, allowing you to carry out meaningful assessments and develop individualized care plans efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and, when necessary, diagnose patient conditions utilizing the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to craft tailored individualized care plans that embrace cultural diversity and meet the specific needs of our patient population.
  • Implement continuous evaluation of patient progress and employ targeted interventions to enhance therapeutic outcomes, ensuring that necessary adjustments are made based on therapeutic advancements or changes in patient status.
  • Maintain accurate and timely treatment records and reports, utilizing current technology to comply with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with patients and multidisciplinary teams to devise comprehensive treatment plans that align with each patient’s unique needs and desired outcomes.
  • Coordinate referrals and act as a liaison between patients and external treatment providers to streamline access to necessary care resources.
  • Facilitate education and mentorship opportunities for students, interns, and new employees, fostering a culture of growth and continuous learning within the team.
  • Assist in peer-to-peer review and contribute clinical insights to enhance collaborative practices while supporting overall team development.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals and families navigating the complexities of cancer diagnoses. You will play an essential role in supporting their mental and emotional well-being, addressing challenges related to coping mechanisms, treatment reactions, and the psychosocial aspects of their health journey. Our multi-disciplinary approach ensures that care is available to diverse populations, highlighting the importance of understanding cultural sensitivities and patient backgrounds in delivering effective support.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in oncology-related social work or a background in health care provision will be highly regarded. Familiarity with evidence-based methodologies and a strong foundation in behavioral health practices will be advantageous as you work to promote patient recovery and quality of life.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $105,000 annually, reflecting our commitment to attracting and retaining top talent in the mental health field. In addition, you will receive a sign-on bonus as part of your compensation package. Our benefits are designed to prioritize your well-being, with generous above-market compensation, paid time off, health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional development.
