Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Azure Platform & DevOps Engineer to lead Azure platform engineering, infrastructure automation, and DevOps enablement. This role focuses on designing and building secure, scalable Azure landing zones, implementing Infrastructure as Code using Bicep and Azure Verified Modules (AVM), and driving CI/CD automation while aligning cloud solutions with business and governance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
  • Develop cloud adoption roadmaps and define Azure strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Support platform standardization and self-service enablement

Architecture & Platform Engineering
  • Design secure, resilient, and scalable Azure solutions across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
  • Build and maintain Azure landing zones following best practices
  • Architect networking (VNets, ExpressRoute), identity (Microsoft Entra ID), and governance models

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Develop, review, and maintain Bicep templates
  • Build reusable IaC components using Azure Verified Modules (AVM)
  • Ensure standardized, modular, and compliant infrastructure deployments

DevOps & CI/CD
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions
  • Integrate IaC, application deployments, and validation into automated pipelines

Governance, Security & Compliance
  • Implement Azure Policies, RBAC, and governance frameworks
  • Enforce security best practices and compliance standards
  • Manage identity, access, and security posture

Monitoring, Optimization & Operations
  • Monitor infrastructure health and performance using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights
  • Drive cost optimization and performance tuning initiatives

Automation & Scripting
  • Automate operational tasks using PowerShell and/or Azure CLI
  • Improve platform reliability and operational efficiency

Collaboration & Leadership
  • Work closely with development teams to provide self-service tools, templates, and starter kits
