Our business is focused on adding value to assets, but our passion is adding value to communities. We don't just manage properties; we curate experiences. If you want a career that is as dynamic and vibrant as the places we create, you're looking in the right place.

We aim for our culture to truly reflect our purpose and guiding principles. Our Purpose is to be extraordinary stewards, enhance communities and enrich lives. Our guiding principles:

  • Have Vision
  • Engage People
  • Make a Difference
  • Create Value
  • Build Partnerships

Do you like what you're reading? Nice, but enough about us, let's talk about you.

Are You...

  • Passionate: You are high-energy, enthusiastic, and love seeing creative ideas come to life in a bustling community environment.
  • A Connector: You are social, approachable, and excited to engage with local shoppers, retailers, and event attendees.
  • Growth-Minded: You want hands-on, real-world marketing experience and see every fast-paced project as a chance to expand your skill set.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and driven Marketing Intern to join the property management team at Perkins Rowe. This paid internship offers an immersive, hands-on opportunity to learn the ins and outs of destination marketing, social media curation, tenant relations, and commercial real estate operations. If you are looking to build your resume with a premier placemaking firm and actively shape a major community hub, we want to hear from you.

  • Job Type: Internship
  • Duration: Late August through mid-December
  • Reports To: Marketing Director

What You'll Do

1. Fall Event Execution & Programming

  • On-Site Activation: Play an active, vital role in executing the property's signature autumn events, community gatherings, and retailer promotions.
  • Peak Season Operations: Support the marketing team during a heavily event-driven fall calendar. This includes assisting with event logistics, setup, guest interaction, and teardown.
  • Extended Shifts: Because our fall season is incredibly event-heavy, you will actively work multiple evening activations that regularly run until 8:00 PM or 9:00 PM.

2. Digital Marketing & Content Creation

  • Social Media Support: Assist in planning, capturing, and creating engaging on-site photo and video content for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
  • Digital Updates: Help maintain the accuracy of the property's website event calendars, tenant directories, and digital marketing materials.

3. Tenant Relations & Administrative Support

  • Merchant Engagement: Work closely with retailers and restaurants to gather details on upcoming sales, store events, and promotions.
  • Property Coordination: Provide administrative support to the on-site property management team to ensure smooth, day-to day community operations.

Requirements

What You Bring to the Table

Education & Experience

  • Academic Background: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
  • Creative Eye: Basic experience with social media content creation and photography/videography apps is highly preferred.

Availability & Scheduling

  • Fall Commitment: Must be available to complete the full duration of the internship program from late August through mid-December.
  • Evening & Weekend Flexibility: Must have the flexibility to work non-traditional hours. Because our autumn schedule features numerous major community events, the ability to work evenings (up to 8:00 PM or 9:00 PM) and occasional weekends is a requirement for this role.

Core Attributes

  • Energy & Professionalism: An upbeat, proactive, and self-motivated personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-Oriented: Ability to multi-task, follow instructions, and maintain professionalism while representing the property in front of the public.

Does this sound like a place you'd want to work? If so, we invite you to apply!
