Responsibilities

Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
  • Become proficient in tax research and planning, including tax regulation, law and preparations; including developing a knowledge of reference sources available
  • Assist in developing and maintaining client relationships
  • Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws
  • Supervise and mentor junior tax associates
  • Lead appropriate projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA or CPA candidate preferred (150/120 hours completed)
  • 2-4 years of experience in public accounting (internship applicable)
  • Estate, Gift and Trust and international tax planning experience preferred
  • Efficiency in Microsoft Suite products and software including QuickBooks or Sage
  • Skilled communicator, both verbally and written, ensuring confidentiality with Corrigan Krause employees and stakeholders
