Description
Coordinator, Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Program
Rivier University invites applications for the position of Coordinator of the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence (CS/AI) Program . The Coordinator will provide academic leadership, program oversight, and industry-informed guidance for Rivier's undergraduate and graduate programs in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. This role blends teaching, curriculum development, student mentoring, and the creation of substantial external partnership building to ensure that Rivier's CS/AI programs remain innovative and aligned with evolving industry needs.
The ideal candidate brings broad industry experience, a strong professional network, and a demonstrated commitment to excellence in technology education.
Duties and Responsibilities
Program Leadership and Coordination
• Oversee the planning, development, delivery, and continuous improvement of Computer Science and AI programs.
• Lead curriculum review and advancement to ensure academic quality and industry alignment.
• Coordinate course scheduling, adjunct faculty assignments, and program assessment activities.
• Maintain compliance with institutional policies and accreditation standards.
Teaching and Student Engagement
• Teach courses in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related fields at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
• Advise and mentor students academically and professionally.
• Support recruitment, retention, and student success initiatives.
Industry and Community Partnerships
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with employers, research partners, and industry leaders.
• Facilitate internship pathways, experiential learning, and applied project opportunities.
• Bring real-world insights and industry trends into program design and classroom instruction.
Strategic Advancement

Qualifications
• Doctorate degree in a relevant field, or a master's degree in a relevant field with commensurate industry experience reflecting advanced expertise.

• Experience with curriculum development and program coordination.
• Background in applied AI, machine learning, cloud computing, cybersecurity, or software architecture.
• Evidence of effective teaching
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
