We're expanding our software organization and seeking a Database Engineer who is passionate about building reliable, highperformance systems that power missioncritical healthcare applications. As a key contributor to our engineering team, you'll design, optimize, and strengthen the databases that support our nationwide lifesafety solutions. You'll collaborate closely with Product Owners, Scrum teams, and stakeholders to model data structures, improve performance, enhance ETL and data warehouse workflows, and ensure bestinclass database security and reliability. Your expertise will help advance our longterm vision of achieving Zero Downtime Deployment for the 24/7 systems our customers depend on.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with Product Owners, Scrum teams, and stakeholders to understand requirements and recommend solutions
  • Lead data modeling efforts and guide teams in database design
  • Optimize performance across queries, indexing, and stored procedures
  • Develop and enhance ETL and data warehouse processes
  • Apply and uphold database security best practices
  • Assist engineers learning to develop stored procedures
  • Maintain clear, accurate documentation
  • Support field teams with databaserelated issues
  • Contribute to business continuity planning and testing
