Job Summary
Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is looking for an enthusiastic, well-qualified individual to fill the Data Analyst position. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse and talented group of individuals committed to driving success.
The ideal candidate is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and managing system and project data to support Tech Refresh operations, data-driven decision-making, and process improvement initiatives.
The Data Analyst provides actionable insights, automation recommendations, and project status reporting to support current and future growth. This position plays a key role in ensuring Tech Refresh schedules, asset execution, and implementation activities are supported by accurate, timely, and well-structured data.
Key Responsibilities
The Data Analyst will:
  • Support Tech Refresh data analysis activities across DIA systems and sites within contract scope
  • Collect, analyze, and maintain system, asset, and project data related to Tech Refresh operations
  • Provide process improvement and automation recommendations to enhance Tech Refresh execution and data management
  • Develop and maintain project data, dashboards, reports, and status updates to track schedule, implementation, and asset execution
  • Prepare and define data requirements supporting Tech Refresh utilization, planning, and execution
  • Analyze trends and performance metrics to support project success and future enterprise growth
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting artifacts
  • Collaborate with technical, operational, and leadership teams to translate requirements into data-driven solutions
  • Support planning and scalability efforts for future DIA and Defense Intelligence Enterprise sites
  • Document data sources, methodologies, and analytical processes

Requirements
Skills and Experience
The Data Analyst must have:
  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in data analytics, data management, data engineering, or related disciplines supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, or Federal programs
  • Demonstrated experience collecting, acquiring, extracting, integrating, inspecting, cleansing, validating, and managing data from multiple structured and unstructured sources
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis, data management principles, and data lifecycle processes
  • Experience or working knowledge of data engineering principles, data science methodologies, and process automation and optimization techniques
  • Proven ability to analyze complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or Intelligence Community (IC) programs
  • Familiarity with enterprise IT modernization, technology refresh (Tech Refresh), or digital transformation initiatives
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple data sources, priorities, and deliverables in a dynamic environment

Education and Certifications
The Data Analyst must meet the following:
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
  • Relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree

Preferred
  • CompTIA Security+ CE
  • CompTIA Data+
  • Certified Data Analyst (vendor-neutral or platform-specific)
  • Microsoft, AWS, or other analytics-related certifications

Security Clearance
Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance is/may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner, and that may include lifting up to thirty pounds, as necessary.
