Job Responsibilities
  • Establishes and implements appropriate standards and criteria for data security requirements
  • Design, develop, deploy and manage enterprise data security solutions including data loss prevention (DLP), data encryption, cloud data protection, as well as data security governance and compliance
  • In-depth understanding of DLP, Data Discovery, Classification, Encryption, Masking, Tagging and Governance
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate potential data security threats, including third party cyber risk assessment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy data protection measures and best practices
  • Provide expert guidance on data privacy management and risk mitigation techniques
  • Ensure KPIs related to data security are accurately tracked and reported
  • Monitor and respond to data security incidents, implementing corrective actions as needed
  • Regularly review data security policies and standards. Provide input and recommendations to address enhancements and adapt to changing regulations and industry best practices
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams

The IT Cybersecurity Anayst (IT Cybersecurity Analyst, Senior IT Cybersecurity Analyst, Principal IT Cybersecurity Analyst) where experience will be the determining factor.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, information technology, computer information systems, MIS, or engineering is preferred. A combination of associate degree, military or professional cybersecurity experience and cybersecurity certification (CISSP, GAIC, MCSE, CEH, GICSP, CSSA, CISM) will be considered.
  • 2+ years in cyber security

Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years in data engineering or database designs / architectures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Cybersecurity certification (CISSP, CISM, OSCP, CCSP, GAIC, MCSE, GICSP, CSSA)

Desirable skills include any of the following:
  • Active Directory Design and Management
  • Cloud, Azure, AWS, GCP
  • Scripting experience, PowerShell or .NET (VB or C#)
  • Security Operations Center (SOC)
  • Data security
  • Network Access Management, DNS, DHCP

Pay Range Minimum: $78,702.26
Pay Range Maximum: $156,125.32
The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
