Internship Overview

Springs Window Fashions is looking for a motivated and hardworking individual to join our Procurement Team! The Procurement Internship provides an exciting opportunity to assist the team with project support while providing valuable work experience related to your chosen field of study. Our paid internship program is known for having in-depth, challenging project work with cross-functional teams, as well as professional development, job shadowing and other growth opportunities.

Internship Projects and Responsibilities   

  • Supplier Performance Benchmarking and Risk Intelligence
    • Move from scoring individual suppliers to managing, comparing, and proactively identifying supplier risk
      • Scale the scorecard  to essentially improve data quality
      • Benchmark suppliers - compare performance and establish rankings
      • Identify supplier risk - combine trends, benchmarking to highlight high risk suppliers
      • Standardize supplier reviews - create monthly/quarterly reviews
      • Pilot & Roll out - test with selected commodities and strategic suppliers, gather feedback, integrate into a broader rollout plan
  • Valora 2.0 - Procurement Intelligence Assistant
    • Move to genrating actionable procurement insights by assisting in activities to:
      • Expand the data model
      • Advance AI insights
      • Strengthen Procurement use cases
      • Productionize Valora
      • Pilot & Scale Adoption
