We are seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our software team. You will serve as an expert on Cybersecurity, Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation, and Application Security.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute the end-to-end Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle, lead the preparation, coordination, and successful submission of accreditation packages to secure ATOs.

  • Conduct rigorous security assessments, analyze vulnerabilities, and complete the Application Security Development (ASD) Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) for specialized Department of War software applications.

  • Navigate, secure, and maintain compliance for systems operating within the Combat Capabilities Development Command Aviation & Missile Center (AvMC) environment and the AMRULI network.

  • Collaborate closely with software development teams utilizing GitLab, secure pipelines, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) workflows to ensure compliance controls are built-in from the start.

  • Actively champion and guide the transition to the new certified pipeline process for software verification and delivery. Maintain a strong desire to learn, experiment with, and implement next-generation automated verification processes designed to streamline RMF compliance and ASD STIG evaluations.

  • Provide expert-level cyber guidance to software developers, system administrators, and program managers, mentoring junior security staff on complex Department of War accreditation requirements.

Required

  • BS or BA degree

  • 20 years of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, or security systems engineering within a federal, defense, or aerospace environment.

  • Master-level understanding of RMF

  • Practical, hands-on experience executing, auditing, and completing the DISA ASD STIG for Department of War / Department of Defense (DoD) software applications.

  • Foundational familiarity with GitLab, automated build pipelines, and CI/CD concepts.

  • Must have an in-scope Secret security clearance
