Social Media Marketing Internship - The Rise Collective

Term: Fall 2026 (September-December 2026)
Location: St Petersburg, Florida
Position Type: Internship, in-person

Role Description:
As our Social Media Marketing Intern, you’ll dive deep into the heart of our marketing strategy, creating compelling content and helping expand our brand presence. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced professionals and contribute to the Rise Collective brand’s story through social media, video content, and exciting marketing campaigns.


Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with social media team to create engaging content and videos
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop influencer partnerships and campaigns
  • Assist in the planning and execution of social media strategies
  • Interview our CEO for our Rise Collective podcast, documenting insights and takeaways
  • Contribute to special projects and shadow other departments, gaining a holistic view of the business
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and news to apply to social media strategy
  • Support the Brand Marketing Manager for influencer marketing search & outreach
  • Event planning - assist with the planning, coordinating, and executing events, including sourcing venues, vendors, and materials; managing timelines; promoting events on social media; and supporting day-of logistics to ensure a smooth and successful experience.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical requirements
  • Ability to work flexible hours and/or extended hours as needed to accommodate client and project needs as well as team members and projects in multiple time zones. 
  • Ability to stand, flex, crouch, and lift up to 25lbs on occasion.
