PMA is currently seeking a cost control lead for an exclusive assignment on-site at a client's facility in MI. In this role, you will perform project financial planning, administration, and forecasting duties for a data center project. As a key member of the project management team, will analyze accruals, invoices, variances, and cost accounting for materials and labor and develop and implement standard cost processes and practices to ensure design and construction projects are performed within approved budgets.

  • Monitor and drive the contractor's adherence to the project controls specifications. Review, analyze and recommend solutions to any variances from the specifications.
  • Develop and maintain detailed cost models, benchmarks, and reporting dashboards to provide transparent, data-driven insights to stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to identify cost-saving opportunities, mitigate financial risks, and enforce cost discipline across all project phases.
Position Qualifications

  • 10+ years of related experience is required.
  • Hands-on construction cost accounting experience is required.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills required.
