Qualifications | Who Weโ€™re Looking For

Are you a Junior or Senior undergraduate student majoring in Sales, Marketing, Communications, or Advertising with a passion for communication, creativity, and brand marketing? Do you have a knack for all things social media and a strong grasp of web trends? If you're a wizard with PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, have a flair for graphic design, and possess experience or interest in creating and editing video content, we'd love to hear from you. A basic understanding of agriculture is a plus!

Key Responsibilities | The Marketing Intern will be responsible for assisting and supporting the Marketing Department with a variety of social media and marketing initiatives.

  • Content Creation: Support the development of multimedia content, including photography, graphics, and short-form video content for social media, internal communications, and marketing campaigns.
  • Social Media: Keep our social media accounts and website updated with fresh, exciting content that will captivate our audience and keep them coming back for more.
  • Brand Marketing: Help strengthen and promote the Wyffels brand by creating content and marketing materials that align with our brand identity, support key campaigns, and enhance brand awareness across digital and traditional channels.
  • Events: Assist in planning, managing, and executing events throughout the growing season, including our annual Sales and Marketing Kickoff, turning it into a memorable and impactful event.
  • Design: Use your creative powersย to craft eye-catching print and digital materials that impress and inform.
  • Digital Marketing: Dive into the creation of our weekly internal newsletter, Wyffels FYI, and keep the team engaged and informed with updates.
  • Public Relations & Storytelling: Assist with public relations initiatives by contributing to press communications, blog content, interviews, and written stories that highlight our people, products, customers, and company culture while strengthening the Wyffels brand.
  • Creative Thinker: Help brainstorm and develop innovative marketing strategies and creative concepts for the upcoming sales year.
