Seeking an entry-level (withย  controls internship or co-op) to 4-year field engineer interested in fast growth as a controls engineer in the Data Center and Semiconductor industry sector. You will be responsible for electrical and controls engineering projects involving electrical and instrumentation, coordination with electrical subcontractors, PLC/SCADA/HMI programming, commissioning support, and start-up assistance.

Please note: Must have the ability to work in the US without sponsorship. Must have a valid driver's license.

Major Responsibilities

  • BMS Installation & Wiring QA/QC Verification, including control panels and associated instruments (Level 2). Ensure devices and/or equipment associated with the control system have been installed and wired per the manufacturerโ€™s requirements, as well as the submitted and approved package shop drawings and documentation
  • โ€œPoint-to-Pointโ€ testing to ensure field devices, associated with the control system, have been installed per the submitted and approved system shop drawings and documentation. (Level 3) This process also verifies that the data to and from field devices is properly configured in the BMS/EPMS control system, and includes data that may be read via network integration
  • Functional Performance Testing (FPT) to ensure the control system and field devices operate as defined by the relevant BMS design (Level 4). Verify proper execution of control sequences, alert configuration, alert activation, trend displays, trend configurations, control system failures, and overall verification of the system graphics
  • Support System Level Testing to ensure the control system and field devices functionally perform as one system (Level 5). Verify proper execution of control sequences with all relevant systems operating to achieve a common goal. During this testing, the SCADA is used to navigate the different areas and views of the facility, alerts are activated, trend displays are monitored, and system failure scenarios are examined

Minimum Requirements

Education:ย BS degree from an accredited university. BS Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering preferred.

Experience:ย 1-4 years of field experience. Might consider new grads, but must have some industrial automation experience (Co-op or internship)

  • Understanding of or exposure to field instrumentation, hardware panels, and low voltage controls design is preferred
  • An understanding of control systems, components, PLC programming, SCADA programming, and their applications is preferred

Field Work & Travel 100% work site location. Standard Monday-Friday working hours with occasional weekend requirements. Multiple extended-duration assignments at U.S.-based sites, with permitted weekend travel each month to your home location. A monthly stipend is provided to cover local housing, meals, and incidentals for up to one year per site. Monthly airfare is covered according to the project expense policy.
