Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams / Process Flow Diagrams / General Arrangement Drawings
  • Equipment (compressors, chillers, pumps, etc.) sizing calculations
  • Process line sizing calculations
  • Control valve, pressure relief-device and orifice sizing calculations
  • Equipment and Instrument datasheets
  • Vendor coordination for selection of instrumentation and equipment.
  • Reviewing and checking the work of other process engineers to determine accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordination of design inputs and design activities with other engineering disciplines in a team environment.
  • Must meet expectations for attendance and punctuality.
  • Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (B. S.) / Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET Accredited Program.
  • Other engineering degrees will be considered if applicable experience.
  • Minimum of Five (5) years related experience and/or training.
  • Experience in Department of Energy (DOE) nuclear projects is a big plus.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the key duties listed above satisfactorily.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
