An Internship Control Room Operator assists in monitoring and managing the operations of critical systems within a facility, such as energy plants, broadcasting stations, or security centers. Their duties often include observing system performance, reporting anomalies, and supporting senior operators in responding to emergencies or system alerts. Interns may also help maintain logs, communicate with different departments, and gain hands-on experience with control room equipment and protocols. You can expect to participate in team meetings, shadow senior staff, and gradually take on more independent tasks as you become familiar with procedures.
