Contractor Sap Security Officer (Csso)

What You Will Do:

Support Pratt & Whitney's Government Security Compliance department as a Contractor Sap Security Officer (Csso) responsible for the implementation and oversight of a Special Access national security program. The selected candidate will be assigned to the Special Access Programs Security Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the full scope implementation of Department of Defense Special Access Program Security Manual, company Standard Operating Procedures and additional contractual security requirements. Complete duties as assigned by management to include but not limited to:
    • Apply the requirements of the DoD Sap Security Manual and all applicable USG regulations across a portfolio of programs and facilities.
    • Manage all security disciplines for assigned Saps including Persec, Inbriefs/ Debriefs, Subcontracting, Visitor Control, Accountability, Access Control and Security Education.
    • Collaborate with security and program management for the development, implementation and achievement of program unique security goals and requirements.
    • Develop and/or implement program specific security plans to include test plans, outside work agreements and other Sap security relevant plans.
    • Assist in the completion of annual and event-based security compliance inspections and audits.
    • Perform successfully as an individual contributor and team member.
    • Prioritize and successfully perform competing tasks; display initiative in identifying and addressing deficiencies.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Advanced degree and 5+ years of Security, Military or Defense experience, or government regulated environment; OR Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant industry experience; OR Associate's degree (or 2-year technical training) and 10+ years of relevant industry experience; OR High School diploma and 12+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience must include 1+ years working directly in Industrial Security field.
  • Active US Government Security Clearance, SECRET level or higher.
  • Ability to obtain TOP SECRET clearance with Sap/Sci access.
  • Ability to meet enhanced security requirements to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with Diss, Niss, Sims, Jade, or similar databases
  • Working knowledge of DoD Sap and Sci programs to provide procedural and policy guidance
  • Additional consideration for Cdse Sap Orientation course or Cdse Sap Mid-Level course
  • Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Basic Comsec knowledge
