Marketing Internship - Fall 2026


The Jeffcoat Firm is committed to helping everyday people in crisis, and CEO Michael Jeffcoat’s mission is to provide unmatched legal services to people in South Carolina. The employees of The Jeffcoat Firm are ambitious, resilient self-starters with a passion for taking excellent care of clients and each other. Our Intern program provides students with opportunities to get hands on experience with various aspects of marketing and advertising.


Our Marketing Intern supports the firm’s marketing team in promoting brand consistency, strengthening community presence, and enhancing client-facing communications. This role is ideal for a student interested in marketing, advertising, public relations or mass communications looking to gain insight into the marketing world.


What you’ll be doing:?

  • Assist with reviewing internal and external signage (office displays, event materials, digital screens, billboard) to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with firm branding standards. Provide recommendations for updates or improvements.
  • Draft, schedule, and publish posts across platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and TikTok. Support content planning, research relevant legal-industry topics, and help monitor engagement analytics.
  • Create visual assets including event flyers, digital ads, infographics, presentation slides, and branded templates using tools like Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or similar platforms.
  • Assist with updating attorney bios, practice area web pages, and news items under the guidance of the marketing team.
  • Help prepare materials for firm events, sponsorships, and community initiatives, including signage, handouts, and promotional graphics.
  • Conduct market research, maintain content calendars, organize digital files, and support general marketing operations as needed.
  • Support firm leadership with special projects, as needed.

Who you are:

  • Must be actively enrolled in a college or university undergraduate program.
  • Must have a clean driving record with no speeding tickets.
  • Must have reliable transportation. Be willing and able to run errands with mileage and parking reimbursement.
  • 3.5 or higher GPA.
  • Ability to work between 16-24 hours per week.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with Canva and Adobe Illustrator.
