Job description

With a small group of interns there is a close relationship between supervisors, mentors, and interns, which fosters an environment of companionship and learning.

The successful intern will assist in delivering Level 1 technical support for primary incident resolution or escalation to appropriate Application Support member as needed.

  • Manage issue intake, investigation and resolution with excellent communication skills while supporting multiple applications
  • Log 100% of issues into the ticketing system to include description of issue, troubleshooting performed, resolution and/or purpose for escalation Properly categorize incidents and select the appropriate severity based on impact and urgency
  • Follow knowledge articles to ensure the required troubleshooting, information gathered and escalations are handled accurately
  • Report when knowledge is out of date, incorrect or missing

  • Available to work 30 hours per week while being on-site a minimum of 2 days per week (Tuesday - Thursday)
  • Completion of  junior year preferred and must be enrolled in college for the upcoming semester; graduate students are also encouraged to apply
  • Commutable distance to our home office in Egg Harbor Township, NJ
  • Working towards a degree in Information Systems or Computer Science
  • Ability to multi-task – Manages multiple tasks at a time; quickly and accurately shifts attention among multiple tasks
  • Organizational ability – Demonstrates a systematic approach in carrying out assignments. Is very orderly and excels at cutting through confusion and turning chaos into order
  • Problem solving skills – Demonstrates a strong ability to identify, analyze and solve problems. Translates problems into practical solutions
  • Experience effectively working on projects with cross-functional teams (including software developers, infrastructure and QA teams)
  • Perform own job responsibilities with commitment to quality and customer satisfaction - doing what's right for the team and for the enterprise
  • Identify and report security risks in accordance to compliance

The pay range reflects the potential base salary range for this role. Individual base pay is determined by various factors such as relevant experience and skills, and the scope and responsibilities of the position.
