To thrive as a Computer Science Intern, you need foundational knowledge in programming, algorithms, and data structures, typically gained through coursework or related projects in a computer science degree program. Familiarity with coding languages like Python, Java, or C++, and experience with version control systems such as Git are often required. Strong problem-solving skills, eagerness to learn, and effective communication set outstanding interns apart.
