As a Software Engineer, you will work alongside experienced engineers, scientists, and product teams to develop applications and digital solutions that support research and development. Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that support scientific research and business operations.-
  • Collaborate with software engineers, scientists, and product teams to deliver solutions that address real-world challenges.-
  • Learn and apply modern technologies such as cloud platforms, AI-assisted development tools, web frameworks, and data platforms.-
  • Contribute to applications built using technologies such as AWS, React, Python, Databricks, Power Platform, GitHub, and SharePoint.-
  • Support the adoption of AI-enabled solutions and explore emerging technologies that can create business value.-
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.-
  • Document solutions and share knowledge with team members.-
  • Contribute to Agile product teams through planning, development, and delivery activities.-
Education Minimum Requirement

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.-

Required Experience and Skills
  • Understanding of software development fundamentals, including programming, testing, debugging, and version control.-
  • Curiosity, creativity, and a desire to learn new technologies.-
  • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.-
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.-
Preferred Experience and Skills
  • Experience through coursework, internships, co-op programs, research projects, open-source contributions, or personal projects.
  • Exposure to one or more of the following technologies: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, AWS, Azure, Databricks, GitHub, or Power Platform.-
  • Interest in AI, data analytics, cloud computing, or scientific computing.-
  • Background or interest in life sciences, bioinformatics, computational chemistry, or related scientific disciplines.-

The salary range for this role is $87,300.00 - $137,400.00
