Job description

General Statement of Job Under general supervision is responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problems, and determines and implements solutions. Minimum Training and Experience Requires high school diploma or GED supplemented by two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Associate degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred. Physical Requirements Must be physically able to operate an automobile and a variety of automated office machines, which includes a computer, printers, calculator, copier, etc. Must be able to exert up to twenty pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Sedentary work involves sitting some of the time, but may involve walking or standing for periods of time. Must be able to lift and/or carry weights of ten to forty pounds. Must be able to climb ladders and work for short periods of time with hands over the head.
