Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interpret drawings, prints and/or sketches to determine necessary information needed to convert to digital format.
  • Convert drawings to electronic and digital format using CAD and or business engineering systems.
  • Follow recommended standard procedures, revision identification and naming nomenclature for drawings.
  • Responsible for filing original documents as required.
  • May assist in other support activities in the Engineering Department of other functions.
  • Any/all other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong mechanical or electrical aptitude (depending on discipline).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with tools, measurement equipment, and diagnostic instruments.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Required

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Pursuing degree in relevant discipline (mechanical engineering, applications etc.)
  • Proficient in AutoCAD LT

Desired

  • A or B.S in Mechanical Engineering
