Description
Our Global Business Group at Nova is looking for a Field Service Engineer who is a self-starter, has a positive attitude, is a team player, and can support our systems at the customer site in a professional manner. The FSE will perform engineering and technical activities, while utilizing company's R&D teams to direct technology development of new products.

Role Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite technical support for Nova systems under warranty and service agreements
  • Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, upgrades, and system recovery activities
  • Support new equipment installations, qualifications, and system add-ons
  • Collaborate with global support teams, applications engineers, and R&D to resolve complex technical issues
  • Deliver customer training on system operation, maintenance, and best practices
  • Generate technical reports and communicate system status to both customer and Nova management
  • Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components
  • Support onsite customer evaluations and collaborate with sales teams as needed
  • Maintain compliance with customer site procedures, safety standards, and cleanroom protocols
  • Handle sensitive customer information with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Support customers during assigned schedules and provide additional support when business needs require

Requirements
  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field preferred (or equivalent hands-on experience)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience supporting semiconductor equipment in a cleanroom environment preferred
  • Experience with semiconductor metrology equipment is highly desirable
  • Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing practices, safety standards, and fab operations
  • Ability to perform first-level software troubleshooting and system diagnostics
  • Comfortable performing physical work in semiconductor cleanroom environments, including bending, crawling, and working around large equipment systems
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and optical troubleshooting capabilities
