Internship Computer Aided Design Designer Jobs in Prosper, TX

Designer Overview:

We're looking for a Designer to join a growing team with the below experience/skills, please apply if you feel you have the necessary requirements:

• AutoCAD 3D (AutoCAD Plant 3D Highly preferred)
• P&ID's
• Skid design experience
• Fabrication drawings
• Experience working within Water treatment systems or wastewater industries

Work Environment

This role is based in an office environment focused on the design and documentation of water and wastewater treatment equipment. You will primarily work on CAD models and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD Plant 3D, Advanced Steel, and Microsoft Office tools. Travel is not typically required, except for occasional visits to a local fabrication shop to support constructability reviews or design coordination. The work setting emphasizes adherence to ISO 9001:2015 quality standards and established safety procedures, with a professional atmosphere that supports collaboration with designers and engineers. The position offers a contract-to-hire path with the potential for a notable increase in compensation upon transition to permanent employment, along with the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects..

This is a Contract position based out of Plano, TX.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
