Your Role

Aptiv's Tax Leadership Development Program (TLDP) is a rotational program aimed at developing Aptiv's tax leaders of the future. Participants in the program will rotate through 3 assignments, each lasting 12 months. Each assignment will be in a different area of tax with at least one as an international assignment. TLDP provides the participants with a wide breadth of experience into functions across the tax organization, including but not limited to:

  • Tax Accounting & Reporting
  • Transfer Pricing
  • Strategic and M&A Tax
  • VAT
  • Customs & Trade
  • Pillar 2 Compliance
  • Tax Controversy & Planning

The program is led and sponsored by Aptiv's Global Head of Tax, along with Aptiv's tax leadership team, who are committed to developing strong tax leaders. The participants of the Program have a unique chance for accelerated career growth. Following successful completion of this Program, participants have an opportunity to continue working for us in roles within Tax in Aptiv with increased responsibility.

Your Background

  • Graduates and final year students majoring in Tax, Finance, Accounting, Economics or Law.
  • Practical experience, such as an internship, in a broadly relevant field in is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • A passion for, and interest in Tax.
  • Ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks and prioritizing to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and decision-making skills.
  • Flexible, adaptable and geographically mobile.
  • Leadership capability - campus or other organization leadership experience ideal.
  • Ambitious candidates interested in leadership career path.
