Position Summary

Panhandle Getaways is seeking a driven, relationship-focused Business Development Manager / Account Executive to grow our vacation rental portfolio across the Florida Panhandle. This is a high-impact sales role focused on identifying, engaging, and converting vacation rental homeowners while building strong referral relationships with real estate agents, developers, investors, and other key partners.

Youโ€™ll represent an established, trusted brand with a portfolio of more than 900 vacation rentals, while having the autonomy to build your territory, develop creative prospecting strategies, and own the sales process from first conversation through signed management agreement.

As a key member of our business development team, youโ€™ll directly influence company growth and help shape how we expand into new properties and markets. If youโ€™re entrepreneurial, competitive, relationship-driven, and motivated by closing deals, this role offers significant earning potential with uncapped commission.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Property Acquisition

Identify, prospect, and convert vacation rental homeowners into new management clients

Generate opportunities through outbound calls, email campaigns, direct mail, networking, referrals, and in-person outreach

Develop referral relationships with real estate agents, brokers, builders, developers, investors, HOAs, and other strategic partners

Respond to and nurture inbound leads generated through marketing and company partnerships

Represent Panhandle Getaways at local networking events, industry functions, and community opportunities

Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach through signed agreement

Present management services, revenue projections, and strategies for maximizing rental performance

Maintain an active sales pipeline with consistent prospecting, follow-up, and CRM documentation

Develop customized proposals and confidently address homeowner questions and objections

Meet or exceed property acquisition, revenue, and sales activity goals

Market & Internal Partnerships

Build a strong professional presence and become a trusted vacation rental resource within the territory

Monitor local real estate, vacation rental, and competitive trends to identify new opportunities

Partner with marketing, revenue management, and operations to support sales efforts

Coordinate a seamless handoff of newly signed properties to the onboarding and operations teams

Required Qualifications

2+ years of successful sales, business development, or account executive experience within the vacation rental industry

Proven track record of prospecting, generating leads, managing a sales pipeline, and closing new business

Strong relationship-building, negotiation, presentation, and closing skills

Comfortable conducting consistent outbound prospecting through phone, email, networking, and in-person outreach

Self-motivated and highly accountable, with the ability to independently manage a territory and sales pipeline

Strong organizational and follow-up skills with experience working in a CRM or similar sales platform

Must reside within or be willing to relocate to the assigned Florida Panhandle territory

Preferred Qualifications

Existing relationships with vacation rental homeowners, real estate professionals, developers, investors, or HOA communities along the Florida Panhandle

Experience selling vacation rental property management services directly to homeowners

Knowledge of short-term rental revenue management, occupancy, ADR, and property performance metrics

Familiarity with vacation rental management agreements, homeowner onboarding, and property acquisition processes

Experience developing referral partnerships and generating business through local networking

Established knowledge of the Destin, 30A, Panama City Beach, or Forgotten Coast vacation rental markets

Compensation: $105,000 expected on-target earnings (OTE), consisting of base salary plus commission.Top Performers can make 180k+. This is a performance-driven sales role offering significant earning potential through a combination of base salary + uncapped commission.
