The Skirball Cultural Center is seeking an intern for an art and museum-focused summer internship. This internship will be held in-person for 10 weeks from mid-June to mid-August. The intern will create hand drawn sketches based on the works found in the exhibition, discuss comics and comic style sketching techniques, and assist visitors in creating sketches of their own. We are looking for candidates that are passionate about creating warm, welcoming arts education experiences for visitors of all ages (2 to 102!) and have interest and experience with comic sketching.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multisensory, stimulating work environment

Eligibility:

Applicants must be currently enrolled as a full -time undergraduate student in either a Bachelor's degree program or an Associate's degree program. Students must have completed at least one semester or two quarters of college by June 2026. Students who graduated this semester or quarter immediately before the internship begins are also eligible. (Students who are enrolled in a second BA or BS program are not eligible.)

Deadline: May 15, 2026

Employment Type: PART_TIME
