Job Summary

The Senior Franchise Auditor provides training, guidance, and support to Franchise Audit Staff. Serving as a subject matter expert on SERVPRO royalty processes and policies, this role conducts complex royalty audits and contributes to the development of training, communications, and departmental documentation. The position also supports audit planning, departmental initiatives, and continuous process improvement.

You will

  • Train, mentor, and provide ongoing oversight to Franchise Compliance Auditors and Interns, ensuring audit work meets departmental standards and support their continued professional development.
  • Support issue resolution throughout the audit process, including communicating with franchisees and escalation when necessary.
  • Identify trends in audit findings and recommend training or process improvements.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert regarding SERVPRO royalty processes and assist with related training and communications for SERVPRO franchisees.
  • Conduct complex royalty audits, including audits of multi-unit and multi-market SERVPRO franchisees.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of departmental policies, process documents, and templates.
  • Support royalty risk assessments, audit planning, and execution of rotational audit plan.
  • Assist the Franchise Audit Manager with departmental initiatives and special projects, as needed.

You have

  • Minimum four years of auditing experience (royalty or other compliance auditing experience preferred)
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks or comparable accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and dependable work habits
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring ability.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships across departments and with franchisees.
  • Ability to understand and interpret legal documents such as franchise license agreements.
  • Strong project management and time management skills
  • Ability to collaborate directly with SERVPRO franchisees, intercompany departments, and franchise audit team

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA, CIA is a plus.
