Summary:  Fanatics Collectibles is seeking a Coordinator, Social Media Categories to build and grow our basketball-focused social presence, including @ToppsHoops. We're looking for someone who deeply understands NBA and basketball culture, internet trends, and social-first storytelling-someone who knows how to create content that feels native to each platform, resonates with collectors and basketball fans, and aligns with the fast-paced, hype-driven voice of the Fanatics Collectibles/Topps social ecosystem. This role will focus on creating, publishing, and engaging with content that builds community, drives conversation, and generates excitement around basketball collectibles.

What you will be doing...
  • Create social-first content for Instagram, TikTok, X and YouTube Shorts - including strong hooks, captions, memes, trends, and storytelling formats designed to drive engagement and conversation.
  • Shoot, edit and publish short-form content with strong instincts for pacing, audience retention, and platform-native storytelling.
  • Develop content that aligns with the voice, tone, humor, and audience expectations of existing Fanatics Collectibles and Topps social channels.
  • Manage day-to-day posting, scheduling and engagement across platforms, ensuring content aligns with platform best practices and brand voice.
  • Maintain and update a content calendar.
  • Monitor performance metrics and assist in preparing reports and campaign recaps.
  • Stay informed on category-relevant news, trends, platform innovations, and collector conversations to proactively surface opportunities.
  • Ideate and execute content concepts within assigned category.
  • Engage with fans, collectors and influencers by responding to comments, DMs and mentions in an authentic and timely manner.
  • Source, curate and share User-Generated Content (UGC).
 
What you will bring...
  • 2+ years of relevant social media or content experience (internships count)
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and engagement best practices.
  • Experience with creative tools such as Photoshop, Premiere, CapCut, Canva, or similar editing/design platforms.
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with a keen eye for tone and visual details.
  • Proven ability to work quickly, accurately, creatively and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep understanding of wrestling culture, storylines, talent, fan conversations, and the moments that drive engagement within the community.
  • You probably already follow wrestling meme accounts, wrestling creators, athlete social accounts, or collectibles pages - and naturally think about how moments, matches, and cards can become engaging content.
  • Passion for collectibles, fandom culture, and internet-native storytelling.
    Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
  • Candidates may be asked to complete a short creative exercise demonstrating their understanding of social storytelling, audience engagement, and platform-native content creation.
