The Opportunity
As a Solutions Engineer supporting DoiT Cloud Intelligence, you will partner with Account Executives to help enterprises, MSPs, Private Equity firms, and Systems Integrators unlock actionable insights across their cloud environments—driving cost efficiency, operational visibility, and smarter cloud decision-making through DoiT's next-generation intelligence platform.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Qualification & Discovery: Collaborating with the Account Executive to thoroughly understand the prospect's cloud environment, FinOps maturity, cost management challenges, and operational goals through in-depth technical discovery sessions across engineering, finance, and platform teams.
  • Technical Validation & POV Leadership: Owning and driving the technical validation and Proof of Values (POVs) specifically for DoiT Cloud Intelligence. This includes meticulous POV preparation, proactive management, and ensuring successful technical outcomes, demonstrating clear value and alignment with prospect requirements.
  • Platform Demonstrations: Developing and delivering compelling and tailored demonstrations of DoiT Cloud Intelligence, showcasing capabilities such as cloud cost visibility, optimization insights, and operational intelligence across complex multi-cloud environments.
  • Business Case & ROI Development: Leveraging your understanding of cloud economics and FinOps to develop compelling business cases and ROI analyses that clearly articulate the financial and operational impact of adopting DoiT Cloud Intelligence.
  • Partner & Portfolio Motion Support (MSP, PE, SI): Supporting technical engagements with Managed Service Providers (MSPs), Private Equity (PE) firms, and Systems Integrators (SIs) by demonstrating how DoiT Cloud Intelligence enables portfolio-level visibility, operational insights across multiple cloud environments, and scalable optimization strategies.
  • DoiT Cloud Intelligence Expertise: Becoming the go-to expert within the company for DoiT Cloud Intelligence, ensuring prospects and partners achieve optimal results and a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Technical Win Ownership: Taking full ownership of the technical win for DoiT Cloud Intelligence engagements, guiding prospects through the evaluation process, addressing technical requirements, and building confidence in the platform's ability to drive cloud efficiency and operational insights.
  • Event & Conference Presentations: Representing DoiT Cloud Intelligence at company events, webinars, and industry conferences, delivering engaging presentations and demonstrations that highlight the platform's cloud intelligence and FinOps capabilities.
  • Product Feedback and Customer Advocacy: Translate customer pain points, partner requirements, and feature gaps into structured, technically credible input for product and engineering teams, helping shape the evolution of the Cloud Intelligence platform.
  • Accurate, Timely Documentation: Ensure timely entry of data into internal business support systems. Contribute to systems and tools that provide key business information and metrics to highlight performance and effectiveness.

We are seeking an individual who is not only passionate about FinOps and optimization but also thrives on engaging technically with customers, solving their most pressing challenges related to FinOps and cost management. About you
You are an accomplished Solutions Engineer with experience in a B2B SaaS software environment. You have an established track record of success and enjoy being the model for the ideal Solutions Engineer within a team. You are excited about enabling companies to transform themselves using the public cloud and the service offerings in the cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) You hold yourself accountable for the success of any initiative you are involved in. You want to be a part of a high performance sales organization and love winning against the competition. You are comfortable working in a fast paced, growing, collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience at B2B SaaS software company in a pre-Solution Engineering role selling into both enterprise and mid-market accounts.
  • An understanding of ITSM eco-systems and prominent solutions within them, such as: Cloud Management tools, DataDog, Chef, Ansible, Puppet, New Relic, ServiceNow, AlertLogic etc.
  • Experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or equivalent cloud, and Datacenter experience with knowledge of hypervisors like VMWare.
  • Strong data analysis skills and the ability /navigate spreadsheets to identify trends, outliers, correlations and reconciliation needs across large data sets.
  • Good practical understanding of cloud-centric architectures.
  • Comfort level working in a metric-driven environment, including reporting on and improving business performance against a set of monthly KPIs and metrics.
  • The ability to take complex pieces of technology and explain them in a simple and easy to understand way.
  • Solid verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity, great problem solving skills and passion for continuous improvement.
  • Previous experience working with/presenting to executive level prospects and customers.
  • Experience with modern technical selling best practices and selling in a competitive environment, including implementing new or improved trial, demo, and RFP processes.
  • Proven track record of success in a fast growing and scaling business.
