Job description
ITSM FieldTechs is building a reliable bench of on-call field technicians across Ohio for dispatch-based service calls and short project runs. This role is ideal for independent techs, small IT/low-voltage shops, students/interns with hands-on skills, and career-switchers who can be professional on-site and follow process.
Typical Work (varies by client/site)
You may be dispatched to support one or more of the following:
POS and peripheral swaps (printers, scanners, pin pads)
Network troubleshooting and basic rack/closet work
Cat5e/Cat6 cable runs, terminations, and testing
CCTV / camera installs and service visits
ATM and kiosk support (basic break/fix tasks)
Drive-thru and other low-voltage equipment support
What We Need From You
Proven hands-on IT or low-voltage experience (commercial is a plus)
Strong troubleshooting mindset and clean documentation habits
Reliable vehicle + ability to travel within Ohio markets as dispatched
Must have: basic tool kit, smartphone, laptop
Dependable communication and punctuality (dispatch work is time-sensitive)
Pay & Reimbursements
Competitive contract rates per work order / project
Mileage reimbursed one way at the federal rate ($0.67 per mile)
Parts reimbursed same day when pre-approved and documented
Biweekly pay schedule
