Position Summary
Third Street Family Health is seeking motivated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) students to join our Family Medicine team for a handsโon clinical training experience. This placement supports students completing required clinical rotation hours within a dynamic, communityโbased healthcare setting. Clinical experiences and responsibilities are tailored to the studentโs level of education, training objectives, and university requirements.
Students will gain experience delivering patientโcentered primary care services while developing core competencies in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, preventive care, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in direct patient care under supervision, including history taking, physical examinations, and documentation.
- Assist with assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient education.
- Observe and participate in preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care visits.
- Collaborate with medical providers and interdisciplinary care teams.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice.
- Complete required clinical rotation and supervision hours for academic credit.

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Seeking clinical placement for required rotation hours and academic credit.
- Third Street must have an affiliate agreement on file with the educational institution.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and ethical standards.
- Completes credentialing requirements within the first 90 days of placement.
