This position offers a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a strong connection with the school and healthcare teams. • Manage a designated caseload of students, evaluating their unique social, emotional, financial, and cultural circumstances that may influence their overall health and educational success.
• Implement comprehensive intervention strategies aimed at removing psychosocial barriers to foster safe and timely transitions for students within the educational and healthcare systems.
• Lead treatment discussions and care coordination with educators, parents, and healthcare teams to address complex psychosocial issues, including crisis intervention as situations arise.
• Provide educational resources and coordinate referrals to ensure students and families access critical support services.
• Facilitate communication among various stakeholders involved in a student's care, enhancing overall satisfaction and pathway to recovery.
• Maintain clinical standards by supervising and mentoring MSW interns, other social workers, and volunteers, ensuring high-quality service delivery and department compliance.
• Participate in regular team meetings, contributing to case consultations and interdisciplinary discussions centered on student care.
• Remain on-call as required, ready to respond to emergent student or family situations that necessitate immediate attention.
• Educate both healthcare teams and community organizations on the psychosocial aspects of patient care, advocating for best practices regarding social work involvement in school health programs.

This position primarily serves students and their families within a school environment, addressing a wide range of psychosocial issues affecting the students' emotional and educational performance. • A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (BSW) is required; candidates with an MSW will have a strong advantage.
• Must hold a current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a social work capacity is required, ideally within school or community settings.
• Proficient in using telehealth platforms and various electronic health record (EHR) systems for case management.

• Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team, particularly within educational or school-based health programs.
• Demonstrated capability in crisis intervention and managing high-risk cases effectively.
• Knowledge of California regulations regarding student welfare and services.

The salary range for this position is between USD 120,000 and 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
