Job Description:

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance healthcare terminology and biomedical information systems.

Support applications and services associated with:

o Medical Subject Headings (MeSH)

o Unified Medical Language System (UMLS)

o RxNorm

o Value Set Authority Center (VSAC)

o Electronic Clinical Quality Measures (eCQMs)

o Digital Quality Measures (dQMs)

Develop and maintain terminology services, APIs, data-processing workflows, and integration solutions.

Support healthcare terminology releases using XML, RDF, MARC, and other structured formats.

Perform database programming, data modeling, schema design, and optimization.

Support HL7 FHIR terminology services and healthcare interoperability initiatives.

Develop ETL processes and data transformation solutions.

Troubleshoot application, database, and data-quality issues.

Collaborate with healthcare SMEs, developers, and system administrators.

Required Skills

5+ years of software development and database programming experience.

Experience supporting healthcare IT applications and terminology systems.

Knowledge of:
