Job description

Medical Laboratory Scientist - New Grads are Welcome

        6100 Harris Parkway Fort. Worth, TX 76132

Work hours:

        4 -10-hour shifts 8:30 PM - 7:00 AM with rotating weekends and holidays.

Here's What You Need:

MLS Requirement

        Bachelor's Degree for an MLS (or attained within 3 months of hire date)

        Bachelor's Degree required within 3 months of hire.

        Medical Technology, Applied Technology, Clinical Lab Science or Chemical, Physical or Biological Science preferred.

        Individuals hired as a CLS II prior to January 3, 2010 will be grandfathered to the MLS position with existing education.

Experience:

        Internship in an approved Medical Technician training program required.

        2 years' experience in a Medical Laboratory preferred.

        Previous experience in high-complexity Microbiology lab highly preferred

        MLS (ASCP) Medical Lab Scientist required within 6 months after hire  

        MT (ASCP) Medical Technologist required within 6 months after hire 

        Other AMT, AAB, HHS, NCA, HEW, CLS- CA, FL, NY state license, Philippine Board of

        Technical Technology required within 6 months after hire Or

        M(ASCP) - Microbiology if working in Microbiology required within 6 months after hire
