Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize chemical, biological, or mechanical processes related to food engineering
  • Conduct research and experiments to improve food processing techniques and efficiency
  • Analyze data from pilot plants and manufacturing environments to inform process improvements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues during testing and production
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and innovation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, Biological Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience; internships, co-ops, research projects, or food-processing experience considered
  • Experience working in food processing, salty snacks, confectionery, pilot plants, or manufacturing environments preferred
  • Familiarity with data analysis, DOE/statistics, and hands-on equipment troubleshooting is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
