This position reports to the Director or Operations and manages a team of direct and indirect reports. Individuals should have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to present to upper management. Weekly you will average 50 hours (getting paid overtime for the time you put in) and support busy season July-November.REQUIREMENTS for the Production Manager:1.

Minimum of a high school diploma or GED, post education is highly preferred2. At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar production management role3. Experience overseeing production in FDA packaging or chemical, food or beverage manufacturing, including a blending/mixing process4.

Experience overseeing production in non-union work environments5. Experience overseeing direct and indirect, including overseeing a total of at least 30 employees6. Microsoft OfficeSkills preferred but NOT required:1.

ERP experience2. Strong mechanical aptitude or an engineering background3. GMP, HACCP, SQF or PCQI experience4.
