Job description

Overview
Lutron is seeking a Sales Support Intern to join our collaborative team and contribute to high-impact projects. In this role, you will be provided experience in our sales support organization while you gain exposure to a professional work environment. You will be integrated into a team and on the job training will be provided by your supervisor and co-workers. Our program offers responsibility, real world experience, and meaningful assignments along with personal mentoring and detailed training. Responsibilities
Your internship at Lutron could offer you the opportunity to work on:
  • Building relationships with Lutron channel partners via phone, email, chat, and Teams as their main sales contact at Lutron.
  • Build a strong knowledge of our innovative lighting control, lighting and shading products & solutions
  • Provide logistical support for in-person and virtual training sessions and events for customers and internal teams.
  • Driving active projects in partnership with cross functional teams
  • Learning and applying newly adopted tools and technologies to enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability

Qualifications
We seek talented, success-minded people with the desire and ability to make things happen. Our baseline requirements are simple:
  • You are pursuing a 4-year degree
  • Your cumulative GPA is at least 3.00
  • You are a rising junior, rising senior, or master's student at the start of the internship
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • You are driven and self-motivated
  • You are interested in pursuing a sales-oriented career upon graduation
  • You are authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require Lutron to sponsor you for any work visa, such as an H-1B, either immediately or at any time in the future. Lutron does not offer work visa sponsorship for this position.
  • Willingness and ability to work on-site 5 days per week
