This role is primarily remote with flexible hours, facilitating a balance between professional and personal commitments. You will work within a state-of-the-art, climate-controlled environment to ensure your comfort while providing care. Moderate daily movement is encouraged as you collaborate with colleagues both remotely and on-site.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations of patients needing mental health support, utilizing tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to inform individualized care plans.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment strategies in collaboration with patients and their families, ensuring a culturally sensitive approach that reflects diverse backgrounds and special needs.
• Continuously evaluate patient progress through regular follow-up sessions, adapting interventions based on documented results and adjusting care plans as needed to achieve desired patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records using electronic health record systems in compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Engage collaboratively with fellow healthcare providers and educational personnel to coordinate comprehensive care solutions and facilitate effective patient referrals.
• Engage in mentoring activities, providing educational support to students, interns, and volunteers to foster a culture of learning within the organization.
• Participate in peer review and clinical collaboration, guided by clinical supervisors, aimed at enhancing the skills and competencies of team members.

The LCSW will primarily support individuals and families dealing with the complex emotional and psychological implications of a cancer diagnosis. Your role is crucial in not only alleviating psychological distress but also in providing coping strategies and long-term mental health management, ensuring these individuals feel empowered during challenging times.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A current, unrestricted State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia.

• Experience in outpatient therapy, especially with pediatric populations and families facing oncology challenges.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices relevant to mental health diagnoses and treatment, particularly in a collaborative care environment.
• Experience using digital tools for telemedicine and patient record management.

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 105,000 annually, complemented by a competitive benefits package.
