Job description

Summary:

Responsible for acquiring, retaining, reactivating, and growing play from high-end slot and table guests through personal, professional contact. Also responsible for ensuring the quality of service provided to all guests is in accordance with established marketing strategy. Responsible for booking reservations for top tier guests for the Hotel, restaurants, spa, entertainment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 3 or more years in the role of the Executive Casino Host preferred
  • Experience in the casino/hospitality industry strongly preferred. Gaming experience is a preferred
  • Strong background in customer-service/high level sales/customer retention/account management/loyalty marketing experience required
  • Must possess excellent communication (verbal and written), organizational and analytical skills
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Must have the ability to effectively perform job responsibilities without supervision
  • Strong experience in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel spreadsheets is required. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from vendors, customers, or regulatory agencies
  • Must possess skills to operate smart phone features including; texting, email and scheduling

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develops and sustains relationships with VIP guests.
  • Introduces new VIP guests to the casino property.
  • Dispenses high-end amenities to qualified guests. Acts as a resource for guests, managements and team members, to ensure a maximum level of satisfaction and service throughout the department and the casino
  • Represents the casino at on-and-off property events
  • Works to reactivate inactive VIP guests through direct contact (mail, telephone, personal visits, etc)
  • Interacts with other departments to identify VIP guests
  • Assists VIP guests with special reservations for events on and off-property, hotels and restaurants
  • Professionally resolves guest complaints and/or conflicts in a timely manner
  • Dispenses complimentary amenities to guests who have attained the necessary levels of play
  • Facilitates the effective management of information throughout the department and casino
  • Maintains a working knowledge of casino facility, as well as current and upcoming special events on and off property in order to advise guests and fellow team members, whenever possible
  • Ability to work in a highly regulated, fast paced environment
  • Must be able to work any schedule; days, swing, and graveyard. Holidays and weekends are required
  • Must be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Constantly requires specific vision abilities of close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • Occasionally reaching with hands and arms and sitting, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling

Working Conditions:

  • Exposed to risk of radiation (from computers)
  • Works in moderate noise level and some smoky areas of the casino
