Royal Caribbean Group has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Manager of Corporate Development reporting to the Director of Corporate Development.
This position works on-site in Miami, Florida.
Position Summary:
As a key member of Royal Caribbean Group's Corporate Development team, the Manager, Corporate Development will help define, shape, and execute the company's agenda for mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, investments, and other major strategic initiatives. This role reports to the Director of Corporate Development and partners cross-functionally across the company and brands to identify and evaluate organic growth opportunities, assess potential transactions, and develop analytically grounded, actionable insights that inform decision-making. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and strong team leader with excellent quantitative, strategic, and communication skills. They bring the maturity and confidence to engage effectively with senior executives, along with a humble, self-aware style that builds alignment and helps drive cross-functional teams to sound decisions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assess industry trends, the competitive landscape, and strategic priorities to proactively identify and cultivate acquisition and investment opportunities.
  • Support pipeline development, strategic deep dives, and active transactions, including underwriting, due diligence, and project management.
  • Develop thoughtful perspectives on industry segments, market trends, and potential targets or strategic opportunities.
  • Conduct and maintain ownership of analysis and vetting of potential M&A targets for strategic fit and financial impact on RCG and present to senior executives.
  • Coordinate due diligence efforts with target executive team, outside advisors, and internal subject matter experts.
  • Manage the reporting on due diligence findings and provide summaries to senior executives.
  • Provide business drivers and inputs, refine, and oversee financial and valuation analysis done internally and by outside advisors.
  • Develop CEO and/or Board of Directors investment memoranda and presentations.
  • Support the team effort in deal structuring and negotiations.
  • Lead internal teams on implementation and integration/carve-out planning.
  • Motivate and engage direct reports, including providing day-to-day direction, mentorship and coaching.
  • Perform other duties as required to support Transformation Hub objectives.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
  • Bachelor degree required, MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience.
  • Corporate development, investment banking, transaction advisory, or private equity background preferred; travel industry experience a strong plus.
  • Experience managing and developing high performing teams and hiring top talent.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills to drive complex business issues to resolution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong financial modeling, P&L forecasting, understanding of all three financial statements, and valuation analysis experience.
  • Experience with legal contracts, data rooms, and managing diligence workstreams.
  • Strong attention to detail, project management skills and a demonstrated ability to manage and drive forward multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent writing and presentation creation skills. Ability to deliver presentations with confidence in senior management meetings.
  • Ability to develop rapport and credibility with diverse groups with a focus on facilitating buy-in and solution development.
  • Self-starter with intellectual curiosity, a strong desire to learn, and passion for creating an excellent work product.
