Job description

Who We Are

EMC2 Playground Experts is a nationwide playground equipment manufacturing and installation company. We also install any type of playground surfacing. We are growing and need to expand our team

The Installer Role

As an Installer, you’ll help build and finish playground systems and surfacing at job sites across the region. This role exists to deliver clean, safe installs that match plans and meet customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Load/unload materials and prep the site with the crew
- Assemble and set playground equipment and surfacing components
- Use hand and power tools and follow install specs and measurements
- Keep the work area organized and report issues early
- Follow safety rules on every site
Qualifications:
- Construction or hands-on trade experience (school, internships, or field work)
- Able to lift, carry, and work outdoors in changing conditions
- Willing to travel to job sites 60%–80%
- Valid driver’s license and reliable attendance

Typical Workday

Your day kicks off at the Hebron, IL Shop with a short safety check and a quick review of the project plan, then you load tools and materials and head out. Travel is part of the job-some days are long drives, with onsite stays for 7-10 days and other days are local. On location, you rotate between staging, measuring, and assembly so the install stays on pace. You’ll get clear direction from the lead, ask questions when something doesn’t match the specs, and keep the area clean as you go. Wrap up by securing equipment, doing a final sweep, and setting up the next day’s needs.
