Location: Madison, WI (Hybrid)

Duration: 11+ Months

Interview:  MS Teams / In-Person

 

Job Description:

Candidates MUST be WI residents local to Madison, WI. No relocation is allowed. This position will be onsite for a minimum of two days per week.

Position Summary:

The Systems Engineer will play a key role in the design, planning, execution, and installation of the current infrastructure to support new applications and technologies. Support software and hardware upgrades and maintenance of Windows servers, operating systems, infrastructure systems, and applications. Must have extensive experience with standard industry practices including management of Windows Server systems. The Systems Engineer relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.  The Systems Engineer must be highly self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks with strong attention to detail.

Top Required Skills and Years of Experience (8-10 years):

·       Server and system administration technologies such as Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server, VMWare, and Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)

Top Nice to Have:

·       PowerShell

·       ITIL certification

·       Experience supporting O365 and SharePoint

·       Administration of Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)

·       Administration of Microsoft .NET web applications

Interview Process:

·       Teams with camera on

Duration of the Contract:

·       06/30/2027, with potential for at least 1-year extension
