Job Description
Practice Setting: Inpatient rounding, admitting, and consulting
Start Month: May 2025 (with credentialing)
Shift Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM (no call)
Patient Population: Inpatient Oncology unit - both oncology and hematology patients
Support Staff: No APP coverage; outpatient oncologists available for support/questions
Inpatient Coverage: Yes
Supervision Responsibilities: No
EMR System: EPIC
Responsibilities: Treating oncology and hematology patients, administering medication
Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
Credentialing Requirements (Must Have at Acceptance)
  • MD diploma
  • Internship/residency/fellowship certificates
  • All medical licenses
  • DEA
  • Board Certification
  • BLS (Life Support Certification)
  • Current & previous certificates of insurance
  • Driver's license
  • Professional color photo/headshot
  • CMEs from the past two years
  • Immunization records (TB, Flu, HepB, Tdap, Varicella, COVID)
