Job Title: Business Operations Manager
Location: Austin, TX

About Salesforce
We're Salesforce, the Customer Company - inspiring the future of business with AI, Data, and CRM. Guided by our core values, we help organizations across every industry blaze new trails and connect with their customers in entirely new ways. Here, you're empowered to be a Trailblazer: to grow your career, chart your own path, and help improve the state of the world. If you believe business can be the greatest platform for change, and that doing well and doing good aren't mutually exclusive, we'd love to have you.
Role Overview
We're looking for a Business Operations Manager to be the operational backbone and trusted execution partner for our Customer Success COO organization. In this high-visibility, individual-contributor role, you'll drive headcount strategy and governance, financial operations, vendor oversight, executive rhythms, and key program operations. You'll bring sharp analytical instincts, cross-functional savvy, and a bias for operational excellence - building alignment across Finance, Employee Success, Procurement, and Customer Success Leadership to keep the organization running at its best.
Your Impact
  • Own end-to-end workforce strategy and headcount governance across the Customer Success COO organization, partnering with Operations, Recruiting, and Finance on position tracking, backfill allocations, and organizational modeling.
  • Lead financial operations and spend management - partnering closely with Finance on quarterly outlook cycles, operational expense tracking, budget forecasting, and month-end close alignment.
  • Drive procurement operations and vendor governance, aligning Procurement, Finance, and business partners to optimize spend and ensure contract compliance.
  • Serve as the go-to partner for ad-hoc operational tracking and analysis across headcount, budget, and org rhythms, supporting the priorities of the COO of Customer Success.
  • Lead operational execution and budget governance for major milestones, overseeing event logistics, resource allocation, and financial tracking for company events (e.g., Dreamforce) and Customer Success leadership summits.
  • Program-manage organizational culture and recognition frameworks, overseeing budget allocation, executive review workflows, and program impact for org-wide recognition initiatives.
  • Elevate operational infrastructure by centralizing team knowledge assets, onboarding resources, and executive communication channels to maximize efficiency across the organization.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in Business Operations, Strategy & Operations, or Program Management within a SaaS or global technology environment.
  • Deep expertise in workforce planning, headcount mechanics, financial expense budgeting, and procurement workflows.
  • Hands-on proficiency with enterprise tools including Workday, Coupa, Tableau, Google Workspace/Excel, and Slack.
  • A track record of building trusted relationships across matrixed teams - Finance, Employee Success (HR), Procurement, and Executive Leadership.
  • Sharp analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with a gift for turning complex operational data into clear, executive-ready insight.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities, paired with a proactive, self-starting approach to driving operational rigor as an individual contributor.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with strong executive presence.

Unleash Your Potential
When you join Salesforce, you'll be limitless in all areas of your life. Our benefits and resources support you to find balance and be your best, and our AI agents accelerate your impact so you can do your best. Together, we'll bring the power of Agentforce to organizations of all sizes and deliver amazing experiences that customers love. Apply today to not only shape the future - but to redefine what's possible - for yourself, for AI, and the world.
