Job description

Overview:

Amca is looking for sharp, high-energy interns to join our Business Operations team. You will work directly on the workflows that keep Amca's pipeline moving - supporting business development, tracking opportunities, and helping execute on new growth. This is a fast-paced, high-ownership role where your work will have direct impact on the company's growth. You will collaborate cross-functionally with program management, engineering, and production teams to help identify and execute new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Amca's business development and pipeline management processes, including opportunity identification, bid preparation, and follow-through
  • Track and manage active opportunities across Amca's target markets
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather technical and programmatic inputs needed to pursue new business
  • Assist with research and analysis to support business development and program management decisions
  • Help maintain accurate records of pipeline activity, bids, and outcomes
  • Contribute to process improvements that increase the speed and quality of Amca's business operations workflows

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or graduate degree program
  • Background or coursework in one or more of the following: Business, Finance, Political Science, Law, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a closely related field

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated track record of high performance in academic, professional, or extracurricular settings
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams under deadline pressure
  • Comfortable working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with a high degree of ownership
  • Prior exposure to defense acquisition, government contracting, or DoD procurement processes
  • Prior experience in aerospace, defense, or industrial manufacturing
