Logistics Intern
Location: Fenton, MO | Onsite
Start Date: July 2026
Compensation: Paid Internship

About the Internship

As a Logistics Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the movement of dry and liquid bulk commodities while learning the day-to-day operations that keep a large transportation network running efficiently.
This internship offers exposure to dispatch operations, logistics technology, data-driven decision-making, and transportation management, providing valuable real-world experience in a dynamic industry.
What You'll Do
Operations & Dispatch
  • Learn the fundamentals of transportation planning, route optimization, and asset utilization.
  • Assist with driver and equipment scheduling to support efficient operations.
  • Gain insight into daily dispatch processes and customer service coordination.

Logistics Technology
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of logistics software and operational workflows.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency through technology and process enhancements.

Strategic Projects
  • Participate in geofencing and location-tracking initiatives designed to improve visibility, operational performance, and customer experience.
  • Assist with data analysis and reporting related to transportation operations.

Industry Knowledge
  • Develop an understanding of the regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices governing the transportation of dry and liquid bulk commodities throughout the United States.
  • Learn how transportation, supply chain management, and logistics teams work together to deliver exceptional service.
